Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek

Dhaulagiri (8167m) is the 7th highest peak on Earth, trekking around its massif is considered as a challenging and most rewarding. This isolated trekking offers amazing natural scenery, evergreen forest blossoming rhododendron combines with native warm hearted people and their heady mixture of unique culture. It is particularly attractive to people drawn to high mountains and wilderness, and requires an excellent physical condition and basic mountaineering skills. The popular and challenging high mountain passes in this area includes French Pass (5,360 meters) and Dhampus Pass (5,182 meters). Trekking trail passes through forests full of ferns, oak, juniper and into the high provinces, making over snow and glaciers. Further, it circuits around the Dhaulagiri massif, displaying the beauty and wilderness of Nepals remote area, which truly is an adventure to any trekking enthusiast. This is a beautiful all round trek that incorporates the best of what Nepal has to offer while being off the beaten track.

Recommended itinerary:

Day 01 : Receive you at the airport and escort to the hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu (1315m) ->  Beni (830m), drive 8 hrs
Day 03: Beni - > Babichour, drive 2 hrs then trek->  Darbang, 4 hrs (1030m)
Day 04: Darbang - > Sibang  6hrs (1350m)
Day 05: Sibang - > Muri , 5 hrs (1850m)
Day 06: Muri ->  Boghara, 7 hrs (2080m)
Day 07: Boghara ->  Dobang, 6 hrs (2520m)
Day 08: Dobang - > Chartare, 5 hrs (2820m)
Day 09: Chartare - > Pakabon, 5 hrs (3510m)
Day 10: Rest day for acclimatization
Day 11: Pakabon ->  Glacier, 6 hrs (3810m)
Day 12: Glacier - > Dhaulagiri base camp, 7 hrs (4750m)
Day 13: Rest day for Acclimatization
Day 14: Dhaulagiri - > French pass (5360m) - > Hidden valley, 5 hrs
Day 15: Hidden valley ->  Thapa pass (5230m) - > Yak kharka (3680m), 6 hrs
Day 16: Yak kharka ->  Jomsom (2720m), 5 hrs
Day 17: Jomsom - > Pokhara (915m), fly 30 mins.
Day 18: Drive or fly back to Kathmandu.
Day 19: you conclude this trek here.

*Airport pick-up and drop in a luxurious vehicle, *provide you with a local SIM card to communicate (If your cell phone does not accept the local SIM, we then give you cell phone set to), and internet wireless password for the places you need and it works *3 or 4 nights on BB plan in 3-4 star category hotel in Kathmandu and other places depending on necessity * breakfast, lunch, dinner, lemon water,  tea/coffee during trek, * provide you with male/female Guide and porter depending on your requirements,  *TIM cards,  National Park permits, and government other related fees are taken care of, * we also usually do a farewell dinner for you in the place you would probably like.

*Your food and drinks (eg. Beer or whisky drinks) in Kathmandu and other places, and during trek other than mentioned, *Your Travel Insurance which is what you have from back home *Tourist Entry Visa upon arrival in Kathmandu airport, *matter related your enjoyment, Tips to waiter, alcohol, laundry, and of course your shopping, Expenses occurred due to natural disaster, protest, flight delay, and things out of our hand. We do our best to get out of the situation but we will not take responsibility of financial loss, destruction and theft.  Rent charge of trekking equipment (two men tent, dining tent, kitchen tent, Table with chairs, kitchen utensils, Down sleeping bag / Jackets, walking sticks, and other necessary equipment during the trek etc).

**Note: We are happy to offer a complementary to the group leader with above 10 people. We opt not to  put price tag on any of our itineraries  because some of you would want to stay less than 3 star hotels or some more than, some would want to prolong their journey connecting to Jungle safari to white water rafting and stay few days in Kathmandu or some of you want shorten their trip. Please chose your Itinerary and write us your requirements.
